1. Service Description

MathsCoach AI provides an AI-powered mathematics tutoring service for South African students in Grades 4-12. Our service includes:

• Step-by-step problem explanations
• CAPS curriculum-aligned content
• Progress tracking and analytics
• Multiple learning modes

2. User Accounts

2.1 Account Creation

Parents or guardians must create an account to access paid features. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.

2.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

2.3 Age Requirements

Users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent. Parents are responsible for monitoring their children's use of the service.

3. Subscription Plans

3.1 Available Plans

• Try 1 Week: R29 for 7 days unlimited access
• 3 Months: R199 for one school term unlimited access
• Full Year: R599 for 12 months unlimited access

3.2 Payment

All payments are processed securely through Yoco. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and other major payment methods. Prices are in South African Rands (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable.

3.3 Renewals

Plans do not automatically renew. You will receive a reminder before your plan expires and must manually purchase a new plan to continue access.

4. Refund Policy

Refunds are available within 7 days of purchase if you are not satisfied with the service. See our Refund Policy for full details.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Share your account credentials with others
• Attempt to reverse engineer or copy our AI models
• Use automated tools to access the service
• Submit inappropriate or offensive content

6. Intellectual Property

All content, including explanations, interface design, and branding, is owned by MathsCoach AI or our licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

MathsCoach AI is an educational tool and should not replace professional tutoring or classroom instruction. We provide explanations to the best of our ability but cannot guarantee academic success. We are not liable for:

• Incorrect or incomplete explanations
• Academic performance or exam results
• Service interruptions or technical issues
• Loss of data or content

8. Privacy and Data Protection

We comply with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). See our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your data.

9. Service Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of significant changes.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms. You may cancel your account at any time by contacting support.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes will be resolved in South African courts.
